SLAS: Hongqiao Friendship Award

Shanghai Livingston American School Legal Representative Mr Thomas Sheng was nominated for the Friendship Award and presented a certificate and award at the 2nd Hongqiao Friendship Award on Wednesday, January 31st.

Mayor of Changning District, Hou Jijun, Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal Government Liu Guangyong, and district leaders Bai Xueru, Pan Guoqiang, Weng Huajian, Song Jiahe and Zhu Hui attended the event and awarded winners and nominees.

Hou Jijun expressed his gratitude to the winners and members of the alliance for their contributions to the economic and social development of Changning District. 

As a school and as a community, we are thrilled to have partaken in this event and look forward to the advancement of our government district and aiding in a mutual pursuit of continuous development of our city. 

The Alliance and award was first established in 2020 offering a platform for Expatriates living and working in Changning dedicated to the economic and social development of the district. It has since comprised of recipients of the Hongqiao Friendship Award, Shanghai Magnolia Award, and other outstanding foreigners with strong influence who have made remarkable contributions to Shanghai and Changning District.
