This week in first grade, we evaluated the differences between rivers, streams, and lakes and did a rock scavenger hunt. We made predictions, learned about alliteration, applied knowledge of rainforest animals with a mystery game, and had a spelling bee in English language arts. We learned about centimetres, pattern blocks, triangles, and quarters as well.
