Shanghai Livingston American School opened its original campus on August 26, 2003. In January of 2005 the school moved to a new, beautiful location on Ganxi Road, in the Changning District.

The campus, selected for its prestigious location in an area inhabited by international expatriates, has been carefully modernized and upgraded to provide an outstanding and safe setting for expatriates seeking a seamless education program and for American students seeking to continue their education in China before returning to the United States or other English-speaking countries.
