On June 5th, 2021, SLAS Junior track and field team competed in a tournament vs Lycée Français de Shanghai (LFS French School) and British International School Shanghai (BISS). With every member contributing greatly, SLAS was able to place second. For most of the primary years, this marked their first experience with Track and Field as well as official competitions against other schools. Although it was their first time, they didn’t let that get in their way. Many Wildcats proudly brought back medals, allowing them to keep a token of their hard work that they most definitely deserved. Overall, this experience at the French School (LFS) was a great opportunity as it provided all participants on the 3 Teams of SLAS: U11, U13, & U15 with a chance for growth and experience. Let’s never stop growing and improving, and turn this great success into motivation, driving us to perform even better next time!! Go Wildcats!
