SLAS administration and PTSA would like to remind our parents that the deposits for both community service trips have passed. All secondary students, Grades 6-12, must participate in a community service trip. Each year secondary students must complete 25 hours of community service. Furthermore, this is a great opportunity to exercise the SLAS Core Value: Compassionate Citizen of the world, but not limited to only this Core Value. Students can still submit forms and deposits for both trips. Students should bring their money and forms to Mr. Joshua in Rm 112. Trip information below:

Yaolin Trip

Date: April 6-10
Trip cost: 4,050 RMB
Deposit Due: December 12, 2014 – 2,000 RMB
Remaining amount: February 26, 2015 – 2,050 RMB
Additional: Copy of passport and visa, signed code of conduct, medical release form, Insight medical release form.

Shanghai Trip

Date: April 6-10
Trip cost: 1,225 RMB
Deposit Due: January 14, 2015 – 500 RMB
Remaining amount: February 26, 2015 – 725 RMB
Additional: medical release form, code of conduct, Insight medical release form.
