This week Pre-K tackled the four elements: air, water, earth, and fire. We learned how we needed air to breathe, experimented with straws and balloons, and painted with bubbles and straws. We also took a look at the various earth coverings: soil, gravel, rocks, sand, and clay, and discovered that Earth is a planet and there are more planets that share our sun. On Thursday we discussed fire, looking at candles and burnt paper as well as learning about volcanoes. It was an interesting week for science and the students (and teachers) had a great time exploring the elements!
