This week in Nursery
Theme: At the Hospital: This week we read the books “What Does a Doctor Do?” By: Felicia
Lowenstein and “We need Doctors by: Lola M. Schaefer” We talked about how Doctors and Nurses help our community. We learned that Doctors help people stay healthy and they treat people who are sick or hurt. We also visit our school clinic and introduced our school Nurse Ms. May, she checked the children’s temperature, height, weight and showed the children the used of stethoscope.
Literacy: we reviewed the letters of the alphabet and we focused on letter E, we learned words that begin with letter E and its sound. E (Eyes, Ears, Egg, Elephant)
Math; Counting and number recognition 5 to 9
