Fabulous Fairy Tales took off this week in Kindergarten as we began learning about the elements that make fairy tales. We have been comparing and contrasting different versions of fairy tales, retelling stories, acting them out and more. Each child even made their own mini puppet theater and will be able to retell the stories at home.

In math we reviewed our days of the week and months of the year, discussed uses of maps and made maps of our classroom and played coin exchange.
We would like to invite parents to come to read to the class this month. This is a great opportunity to build and nurture your child’s love of reading. You may read a book in your native language, possibly even your child’s favorite book. Please write a note in the communication book stating when you would like to come and I will do my best to accommodate you. We thank you in advance for your participation.
