SLAS: Halloween 2020

Events, Halloween, News, Photos, Students, Teachers

Our Wildcats students & staff dressed up in their Halloween gear yesterday! We had some fantastic costumes from princesses and ghosts, to Disney characters and storybook figures! Our Wildcats community came together and had some great activities both on the field and in the classroom in lieu of our usual annual Halloween Parade.

“Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and to celebrate we dressed up in costumes! We did activities in Math (color by number page following the All Hallow’s Eve with a black cat, acrostic poems for Writing, and a word search page for literacy class. Any opportunity I have to show my sutdents how to enjoy a holiday-well I am all over that!”

-Mr. Joel Grade 2C

Our PE teachers had a blast with themed games and activities! Some of our Wildcats had the opportunity to make some spooky masks they could use on Friday as well as over the weekend! Our Art classes created some great themed cutouts and pictures to celebrate Halloween at SLAS, check out the video below!
