At SLAS we strive to protect our environment throughout the year by using less paper, recycling waste, and minimizing our environmental footprint. On Friday, April 22, our students participated in several activities to make a positive impact on the world we live.
Our primary students made bird houses from recycled materials and hung in our gardens!
Flowers of the world!
MS Art class designed a mural containing a flower from each country in the world! We are still painting and have a lot to do – if you want community service hours and like to paint; stop by the garden next week!! – Thanks to Miss Lisanne and Mr. Mark for helping out so much!!
Our secondary students worked hard planting a variety of herbs, flowers, and other plants in our newly designed garden!
